INVEST IN OUR SOCIAL IMPACT FUND
At Brass for Africa, we believe the people closest to the challenge are best placed to solve it.
When you join our Social Impact Fund, your investment powers the entire engine that drives lasting change, giving us the flexibility to respond where the need is greatest.
how it works
1
Your
Investment
Your unrestricted investment starts at £1,000.
It provides the flexible, trusted funding that powers our engine of change and allows it to go where the need is greatest.
2
Brass for
Africa Engine
Your investment strengthens our team, supports our local teachers (alumni), maintains our instruments, and builds the systems that make impact possible across all of our communities.
THIS IS THE ENGINE THAT DRIVES SUSTAINABLE CHANGE.
3
The Power
of Music
Children and young people from extremely deprived areas join Brass for Africa programmes.
Music brings everyone together. It builds trust. It creates a safe space.
AND FROM THAT SAFE SPACE, CHANGE HAPPENS.
4
Tackling Our Focus Areas
This safe space empowers children and young people to address the challenges they face across our three focus areas:
EDUCATION: Providing life-skills education, career development opportunities and reducing school drop-out.
EQUALITY: Championing girls, refugees, and those living with disabilities.
HEALTH: Delivering vital HIV/AIDS awareness and mental health support.
your impact
Because your funding is unrestricted, we can adapt in real time, ensuring no child is left behind when needs shift. Music brings children together, building trust and creating safe spaces. From that safe space, change happens across our three focus areas:
£1000

A £1k investment could contribute towards a career development session for 100-150 young people*.
£5000

A £5k investment could contribute towards paying a local Music & Life-Skills teacher salary for 15 months*.
£10,000

A £10k investment could contribute towards supporting Special Needs lessons for one year at one centre*.
£25,000

A £25k investment could contribute towards covering the cost of running the Brass for Africa centre in Kampala (rent and utilities)*.
*These examples illustrate how your investment could support our work. All funds are unrestricted and directed to where the need is greatest.
