CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2022
ONE DONATION TWICE THE IMPACT! FROM 1ST-31ST DECEMBER 2022, ALL DONATIONS WILL BE MATCH-FUNDED BY A PRIVATE DONOR.
HELP US UNLOCK THE FULL MATCH! EVERYTHING WE RAISE WILL GO TOWARDS SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WITHIN OUR PROGRAMMES IN UGANDA.

THIS FESTIVE SEASON OUR AIM IS TO RAISE £15,000 TO PROVIDE MUSIC AND LIFE-SKILLS EDUCATION TO 40 CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR.
Children with disabilities are among the most marginalised of the world’s youth population (UN). Propelled by stigma, extreme poverty and a lack of access to education, many children and young people with disabilities in sub-Saharan Africa live in isolation with little hope for a bright future.
Music provides a safe space for everyone to learn, perform and grow as equals. By 2028, to reflect the global population statistics, our aim is for 15% of our programme participants to be children and young people who are living with a disability.
WILL YOU HELP US REACH OUR GOAL BY 31ST DECEMBER?

BRASS FOR AFRICA IS AN AWARD-WINNING CHARITY THAT DELIVERS MUSIC & LIFE-SKILLS EDUCATION TO OVER 2,000 DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN UGANDA, RWANDA AND LIBERIA.
Working in partnership with over 20 community-based organisations, our local team of teachers are all African and alumni of the programmes themselves. They teach music, and through an integrated life-skills curriculum, nurture transferable skills such as self-confidence, perseverance, concentration and communication.
Music is an incredibly powerful tool to engage and transform and Brass for Africa uses music to champion our four strategic goals of Workplace Readiness, Community Empowerment, Disability Inclusion and Gender Equality.
Our mission is to equip children, young people and their communities with the skills to fulfil their potential and thrive.
